Kinlet Countryside Group
Kinlet Countryside Group was formed to celebrate the varied and beautiful landscape of Kinlet Parish and contribute to maintaining and developing Kinlet’s network of bridleways and footpaths, as well as seeking to extend appropriate permissive access.
It aims to promote public enjoyment of the local countryside which is sensitive and environmentally sustainable which both respects the needs of landowners and supports the local economy, whilst stimulating interest in the wider context of its natural, historic and social heritage.
Walks are organised around different parts of the Parish which aim to highlight the fact that we have a diverse landscape of great natural beauty, from a rolling plateau with wide views across to the Clee Hills to wooded valleys.
Work is carried out in collaboration with Kinlet Parish Council and in partnership with Shropshire Council which supports with training, tools and materials.
Details relating to the re-commencement of this Working Group are not yet available (August 2021).
